Living in the semi-desertic climate of Boulder, CO, the thought of the Ocean always floats around like a dream… This summer we decided to end our trip east with a stop by the coast on a beach where my family-in-law usually gathers.
beyond the fun of gathering the little one with all her cousins, being at the beach felt like a true piece of self-care – the luxurious kind. I especially love the quiet mornings before it gets crowded, and the breathtaking sunlight at the end of the afternoon.
I feel strongly about bringing more water-bodies in my life. I dream of living by the ocean.
August 2018 has been a really special month for several reasons. One of them is that I got to bring my daughter Sofia back to France so she could meet my grandmother (her great-grandma!) Yvette. The emotion was palpable for all of us, including the little one. I feel so grateful for this trip and for Sofia to have received some of her lineage’s wisdom.
On Friday was my first art installation opening at Two Moon in Brooklyn, NY. The turn over was good despite it being a rainy Friday night. You can read about my artist statement here and still go check it out until the end of April 🙂 Once the physical installation is over I will create an interactive digital installation of “Chapters”.
